Homesyd kitchens

Steve Matthews

I started out and still run a successful electrical company but have done several other things along the way. My role is the running of things to ensure they go smoothly which is something I’ve been doing since I started my first company when I was 24.
That being said I have myself installed many kitchens over the years so don’t be surprised if you see me on site getting stuck in. It has long been my goal to do something formally with my brother and this venture is it. We have worked together off and on for years and I was the one who gave Rich his first site experience at 15 as his Saturday job helping me pull cables and lift floorboards, all handy skills for the years to come.
As well as being fully qualified as an electrician I have a HNC in building and 30 years experience in the building industry so I like to think I know a reasonable amount about most things that could crop up and how to resolve them.
Give us a try. I think you’ll be happy you did.

Rich

I began as a young apprentice at a joinery workshop where I was taught cabinet making before transferring to working on site where I learned all the varied skills of being a carpenter.
Now, 25 years later I can confidently do anything from popping on a door to putting a new roof on your home or installing your new kitchen. This broad knowledge of my field has given me insight into how buildings are put together which is invaluable when overcoming many of the issue that present themselves during kitchen installations. Which, having fitted hundreds of kitchens, I can tell you comes in very handy.I’ve worked for many of the kitchen companies you have heard of and have dealt with all of the issues that can arise whist working for the ‘big guys’ but find its better to have a personal approach directly with the customer so they get the job they really want.I pride myself on the standard of my work and doing my best to ensure each install is as painless as these things can be under the circumstances.
